Top Extras. Increased benefits from 1 January 2025
- Health aids. You’ll be able to claim 80% of the cost of CPAP masks (up to your annual $100 sublimit under Health aids).
- Physio. Your physio benefits will increase. Your benefit for initial consultations will be $60 (up from $53). Benefits on subsequent consultations will also increase to $54 (up from $48).
- Chiro. Benefits for initial consultations will increase to $49 (up from $45). You’ll also get more when claiming on subsequent consultations, increasing to $39 (from $35).
- Osteo. You’ll get more back from osteo claims with initial consultations up from $45 to $49 and subsequent consultants also increasing from $35 to $39.
- Occupational therapy. Benefits will increase from $45 to $55 for initial consultants and from $40 to $50 for subsequent consultations.
- Dietetics. You’ll get more back on all consultations (up to $55 from $52).
- Speech therapy. You’ll get more benefits when claiming speech therapy, with great increases to benefits. You’ll be able to claim $60 for an initial consultation (up from $42) and $55 for subsequent consultations (up from $37.
- Swedish massage. Benefits will increase from $25 to $30.
- Myotherapy. Increased benefits up to $40 for initial consultations (up from $35) and $35 for subsequent consultations (currently $30).
- Dental. You’ll also be receiving increases across the board to several dental services. We’ve listed them out for your below.
